BEATS A, B AND N GREAT PONTON
Parking for 2-3 cars on grass verge at Great Ponton Bridge on Dallygate Lane
BEAT N: Park at Great Ponton Bridge and access beat N from the top of beat A (approximately 1 mile from Great Ponton Bridge). Cross the ford, on to the left hand bank. N beat is upstream
WASHDIKE LANE OFF THE A1 IS NO LONGER A GAAFFS PARKING AREA FOR BEAT N. This is due to necessary Health and Safety measures.
Members wishing to fish Beat N MUST access beat N by parking on the verge at the Great Ponton Bridge on Dallygate Lane THERE IS NO ACCESS FROM THE A1 TO WASHDIKE LANE FOR GAAFFS MEMBERS.
BEATS C, D, AND E SYSTON AND BARKSTON
NO PARKING AT THE BEET PAD RIVER LANE.
Parking for 2 to 3 cars in Syston Village Main Street .
Park sensibly. This a BUS ROUTE.
DO NOT PARK opposite driveways on bends or at a Bus stop or near it!
BEATS F AND G
Parking for 2 to 3 cars at the White Bridge Picnic area , Station Road Barkston.
BEATS H AND I and I beat Extension
Parking for 4 or 5 cars on the grass over the Girder Bridge .Open the T bar with pad lock – code 31510 lay it down. Cross over the Bridge and put the T bar and pad lock back in place. Park on the grass area on your LEFT. DO NOT block path ways , farm vehicle access or Bridleways .

BEAT K BELTON PARK ESTATE NATIONAL TRUST.
- FISHNG IS FROM 10AM TO 5PM
TO AVOID BEING LOCKED IN PLEASE LEAVE THE CAR PARK BY 4.45PM.
THE GATES ARE CLOSED AT 5PM ON THE DOT
2 No more than 4 anglers on the beat.
- On arrival at the Main gate entrance please show your membership ID card to N.T staff and carry it with you at all times in case you are asked for ID by a Park Warden and make sure you have a current GAAFFS logo sticker on your car windscreen
- If you intend to fish at Belton, please contact by text or email, Stuart the Head River Keeper before you go to make sure there are no more than four anglers fishing. Stuart has kindly offered to monitor the number of anglers, The National Trust will be keeping an eye on the fishing situation but they have a lot of visitors to contend with and their system will not be perfect. Contacting Stuart will solve the matter and hopefully avoid disappointment.

Please maintain good relations with landowners and members of the public.
Be polite at all times. Our fishing access depends up on it. Report any parking difficulties you may experience to the Chairman. In the event of a complaint please take the complainant’s details and ask them to contact me as Chairman or should the situation arise I will contact them.
Maps of the River Chater and the River Welland will be put on the website, though they are still to be annotated. Refer to these maps for access and parking.
When parking at any beat please make sure you display a GAAFFS parking sticker. Carry your GAAFFS card with Photo ID and a current EA rod licence
If fishing any of the GAA coarse waters Please display a current GAA parking permit.
